Our first at home Thai meal

Well, it happened. Tonight I ventured into a new world here in Thailand. I made a red Thai curry dish with chicken. I was hoping it would taste like the dish I learned to make in the States but it tasted VERY different from that. All in all it turned out ok, but I still have much to learn in the way of Thai cooking. Thankfully, Lina was around to help me make my first pot of rice in our rice cooker!
The red curry was terribly spicy but it was just really thick...like I needed to add another can of coconut milk. So, next time I need to work on the consistency of the curry and maybe it will taste better!
