-fruit vendors nearly on every corner
-fruit vendors pushing carts through the sois (fruit to go)
-the bathrooms (no separate shower and a drain in one corner...easy to clean!)
- the "fruit washer" (former teammate and friend, Jack C. affectionately coined this term, it is much like the fruit sprayer most Americans have next to the spicket on the kitchen sink...this one happens to be next to the toilet)...anyway, this clever device is especially helpful when cleaning up vomit off of bed sheets (was missing this particular item this weekend!)
- the kitchen attached to the house (a separate room complete with it's own door in most cases; heat and smells don't permeate entire house!)
-sweating more (I kept off weight more there)
-the stairs (ditto on the previous)
-line drying my clothes (NEVER thought I would say that!)

Great List! It made me also miss Thailand.
BTW - I coined the phrase "fruit washer"
Please call us sometime and have Paul give me a call. It would be great to talk to him.

Jack,
I will edit my list and give you credit where credit is due! And, I will pass along your number to Paul. Glad you liked the list!
I went to Thailand once for two weeks, and I loved it. I miss it and would go back - even though it is not where I am supposed to be... but it was nice.
We had those "fruit washers". Convenient for many things - including cleaning up after a potty training accident.
Glad she is feeling better.
Missing Thailand too! Praying for you and your fam Crystal!
I hear ya! I've been missing Thailand particularly this week too. Miss it all and miss my family being there with the exposure to life so different than it is here. This is a great list! I think what bothers me the most is the possibility of never being able to go back, even for a visit. It seems so far out of reach. But God is good and i'm trying to see that where I am. I'll pray for you as you miss your life there.
Thailand misses you, too, Crystal. LOTS. It's always good to be reminded of all the wonderful things that are at our fingertips...
Oh Crystal,
I hear you and I only visiting for a short while!
Praying for you.
love, momH
