Hi everyone (the five of you who read this blog!!!)...please be in prayer for me this weekend. I am once again home bound (I was home with 2 children last weekend too!). This weekend is a bit different though because tonight Adele has gotten sick...like throwing up and high temp. Please do pray for strength for me. Calvin is also home with me and so the sibling rivalry is quite strong between these two precious children. Sickness doesn't help the matter!
Even though Adele is sick and I don't have a car that's drivable unless I can google "hot wiring a car" and get it going (Paul forgot to leave me the one car key we have for the other car) I am praising God because some of our new friends here are bringing me some things I could use like Ibuprofen and Gatorade for Adele to take. Wow, God is so gracious, isn't He?
Okay, that is all for now...please hold me up. By the way, Paul, PJ and Josh (paul's nephew) are on a two day canoeing/fossiling/camping trip so do please pray for them as well.
Good night!

Crystal, I am sorry you are going through this today. I hope Adele resolves the illness quickly and that nobody else catches it. And that your husband comes home soon (and nobody else gets sick). Will keep you in prayer. Do you have a specific pediatrician nearby to call? We can recommend one, although they are not prescribing antivirals unless your child has other chronic health issues, like asthma. Getting sick is almost unavoidable, because folks all over this area have the flu right now. Our family is still getting over it. Email me at billberna @ bellsouth . net if you need me to pick up anything from the store for you tomorrow. But for now, ibuprofen and Gatorade may be the only things the doctor will suggest anyway.
Praying. Not sure I know about hot-wiring, though.
Pray for us this weekend. An unpublishable security issue. Thanks.
Hey, Crystal. I'll be praying for you, too. I know about being left at home with sick children while one's husband is out canoeing (or kayaking as the case was for me). I'll be praying you get some rest.
Love you,
Becky
I am praying for the whole family! I feel your pain with the sickness. Kylee is home sick again.
