Another blessing with this house is that it came mostly furnished which means we didn't have to spend extra money on things like a table, chairs, beds, a couch or closets, etc. By the way, in Thailand closets are not built into the room, you have to have them installed or buy a wardrobe, etc. We have been blessed with LOTS of closet space...which is just really wonderful.
Pictured you see our kitche, then our living room which has doors that open up onto that front porch and then the dining room. The downstairs is in an L shape.

Crystal: Your new house looks beautiful!! I am thanking God for His blessings to you. And your ability to see His goodness in the midst of so much change. Keep blogging, sister, you encourage me so much!! Carol Wilkening
what a nice place you have!
looks like something out of the Ikea store!
I can't take credit for the looks of the place, it was all decked out when we moved in (one the perks of living in thailand is you usually rent some furniture whereever you end up living!).
Thanks for praying, Carol. We continue to pray for you and yours.Sarah's recent email was refreshing to read, you've got such great kids!
Hi Crystal-the house is beautiful-it does look like something you'd see in south Florida or something. And I agree with the Ikea comment! Sounds like it's great being in Bangkok, and we're glad you have such nice neighbors! Hilary
Doesn't God do exceeding abundantly above all we could ask or think?! I remember telling Him that I had peace knowing He already knew every place I would ever live; He had them all planned. And every one has been just right. Tell Paul I read his email and am praying for you both. Steve also hosts groups all summer in addition to his other duties, but at least he can do it in English.
Love, Aunt Ruth

Hi Crystal,
Hunter, Paige, and I were enjoying the pics of your new home and the boys. Calvin is getting sooo big!!! And, P.J.'s becoming quite the young man!!!
Your house looks great!! Hunter said that he didn't know that houses were so big in Thailand. We continue to keep you all in our prayers and we can't wait to see new pics.
Love you all,
Melanie, Hunter, and Paige
Your new house looks great! So roomy and nice! I can't wait to see it in person - in only a month!!
I just started a blog on blogspot too (you and Kim inspired me!) and I was wondering if I could put your blog as a link on it? I've enjoyed it a lot and I think others would be very blessed by reading your perspective on life in Bangkok!
Blessings, Catherine
I love the house! I second (or is it a thirds, now?) the comments about it looking like an Ikea catalog. I have actually been looking at a coach very similar to the one in your living room. I really love all the light and your gate. They had gates like that on all the homes in Mexico-"rejas" they called them.
