From the Archives

This is a snake story from our Lopburi days. Just before we moved in May Phii Lina was doing laundry and I was rocking Calvin. She said, "Crystal, you might want to go get Paul, there's a snake out here." So, I went and got Paul and this is the snake she saw. Paul saw it and identified it as a poisonous snake and so he killed it. I will mention that he felt very badly about killing the snake. He said that it wasn't that poisonous and that if bit you would only have to go to the hospital...sometimes I wonder about him! It made me feel better that it was dead though (in my opinion they only good snake is a dead snake!) Posted by Picasa

Hey Paul and Crystal - I've been meaning to comment on your blog for some time and keep forgetting to. Just want to say hello and let you know that I have been pretty faithfully following your adventures in Thailand for several months now. It is always a joy to read how God is working in and through you. Although, I must say that Paul needs some more sanctifying work to deal with his tolerance for snakes. I am with Crystal on this one - the only good snake is a dead snake.
