Calvin reading his favorite book, Go, dog. Go
We had this visitor on our soi yesterday! PJ and I fed him
some sugar cane. He was very happy with that!

Crystal,
I LOVE the picture of Calvin, makes me want to hug and squeeze him! I cant wait for the day when I can hold all these grandchildren in my lap and read to them myself.
I am thankful though, that you are following the Lord, despite the separation from family and friends inthe States.
love, momH
such a cute little guy!
and HOW COOL to have elephants in your neighborhood!!
Elephants? That's great, we only get squirels and the occasional cat.
We love the elephant! The kids and I were wondering?
1)Where was the elephant going? 2)Did you pay the men to feed the elephant? 3)Where did they get the elephant?
To answer your questions, Eva and kids...
1)He was just strolling thru the neighborhood, looking for suckers like us to feed him!
2) yes we had to pay 20 baht for a bag of sugar cane (about 45 cents).
3)Not sure where they got the elephant from. If I see them again, I will ask! I suspect they brought the elephant from one of the outlying provinces.
I can't believe you had an elephant on your soi! So fun.
I'm just getting my head out of my Thai for a few minutes...by the way, it's Wed. night, too late to call, but if you read this, would you perhaps be interested in the park tomorrow afternoon/evening?:)
